Salisbury Pediatric Associates is proud to be the first practice in the greater Charlotte area with board-certified pediatricians trained in both traditional, functional, and integrative medicine. We believe in the uniqueness of each patient and the importance of a personalize approach to prevention and treatment. Our practice offers comprehensive primary care including asthma and allergy therapy, behavioral health, cutting-edge nutrition counseling, stress reduction, and the evidence-based use of modern therapies. Our goal is to make medicine more personalized for better patient outcomes.

Role Description

The position is 4 days per week and an average of one weekend of urgent clinic coverage per month. Outpatient responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing routine checkups and medical procedures, as well as managing asthma therapy. Additional duties include offering behavioral health support and nutrition counseling. Call is one in seven and includes emergency department consultations, inpatient admissions and occasional delivery attendance with neonatal nurse practitioners being the primary attendees. Nurse triage fields most parent calls. We work closely together in a collaborative environment to deliver top-quality care to patients.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
• Licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina
• Experience in functional and integrative medicine is a plus
