Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Developer with strong .NET / C# expertise to support the development, modernization, and maintenance of enterprise applications and RESTful services for the State Automated Driver License System (SADLS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, cloud-based CI / CD pipelines, modern .NET Core frameworks, service integrations, and front-end JavaScript libraries.

This role involves migrating legacy systems to scalable, cloud-ready .NET solutions while collaborating with teams and ensuring high-quality, secure, and efficient code delivery.

Key Responsibilities Azure & .NET Development

Develop and maintain .NET Core / C# RESTful APIs , web applications, and microservices.

Modernize legacy DMV / License systems into cloud-ready scalable architectures .

Design and implement loosely coupled services and modern design patterns .

Cloud & DevOps

Use Azure DevOps for Agile development, CI / CD pipelines, branching, and deployments.

Work with Git for version control and source-code management.

Support cloud integration activities and ensure solutions are cloud-optimized.

Application Modernization

Analyze existing systems and migrate them to latest .NET platforms .

Integrate backend business logic with scalable cloud services.

Work on server-side, high-volume transactional systems .

Frontend & Integration

Develop functionality using Angular, Vue.js, or jQuery .

Build integrations with platforms like SQL Server, DB2 , and BizTalk (nice-to-have) .

Create RESTful services that integrate with enterprise applications.

Collaboration & Documentation

Assist in requirement gathering, system workflows, and business process analysis.

Prototype, test, debug, and refine applications with business and technical stakeholders.

Document technical components, workflows, and project deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

15+ years of experience in C# / .NET enterprise development.

7+ years with ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server / DB2.

5+ years experience using Git.

4+ years building RESTful APIs using .NET Core.

4+ years using Azure DevOps for Agile development & CI / CD.

Strong experience with JavaScript libraries ( Angular / Vue / jQuery ).

Proven experience with system modernization & migration to new .NET platforms.

Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with BizTalk Server (nice to have).

Experience with DMV / License or Government systems.
