Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Missouri.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - ED

Job Details :

  • Work day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
  • 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Weekend hours as required by facility
  • No call requirements
  • This is an auto-offer position
  • Patient ratio typically 4 : 1 (may vary with surge conditions)
  • Work in a 68-bed emergency department
  • Care for all age groups in a busy urban trauma center setting
  • Handle trauma patients, stroke, STEMI, and burn patients
  • Experience high-volume environment with 200+ patients per day
  • Work with EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Must wear black scrubs, professional attire required
  • Block schedules and holiday requests cannot be accommodated
  • RTO must be made up and will not be approved in first week
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA, TNCC, NIHSS
  • Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure required
  • Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience in Level 1 OR 2 years in Level 2 Trauma facility required
  • Trauma, pediatric, and high acuity experience preferred
  • Must be determined, decisive, and flexible
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and pushing up to 50 lbs
