Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a motivated Department Manager to perform duties in support of the direction and vision of the environmental group in Dallas, TX!

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products.
  • Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team.
  • Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team.
  • Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals.
  • Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required.
  • Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects.
  • Reviews monthly productivity and labor hour utilization-rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Assigns projects to staff and schedules work.
  • Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 10+ years in related field.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Effective delegation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within diverse teams, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to hold others accountable.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
