• DEA Certificate Responsibilities :
• Provide Anesthesiology services for patients undergoing General surgery, Orthopedic procedures and other operations.
• Deliver primary coverage for all patients in the surgical intensive care unit and acute and chronic pain management services.
• Perform diagnostic Transesophageal Echocardiography for medical and surgical patients.
• Handle emergency airway management effectively.
• Provide bedside consultative services for non-ambulatory patients.
• Offer consultative services in the clinic setting for ambulatory patients.
• Deliver discharge education and follow-up instructions to all Anesthesiology clinical or surgical patients.
• Ensure follow-up care is coordinated with the next care setting.
• Fulfill other duties as outlined by the facility.
