Regional Safety Manager
The Corporate Safety Department is seeking qualified candidates to join the Corporate Safety and Regulatory team as a Regional Safety Manager. The RSM position is responsible for supporting the development, management, and progress of the company's safety and regulatory programs in all assigned offices within a given region.
There is currently one (1) RSM position opening : Region 13 which will support operations throughout Southern California, Arizona and Colorado.

Responsibilities include :
Maintains thorough understanding of all company services offered.Travels routinely throughout assigned region to support Local Office safety programs and activities in alignment with the BTE Safety Management System. As many as 100 overnight stays per year can be anticipated.Monitors / Inspects facilities and work activities for compliance with safety, transportation, and environmental programs.Supports and assists with the professional development of LOSCs.Understands and utilizes company safety and regulatory programs to audit and assess safety performance and compliance within the assigned region.Oversees and coordinates post-incident management activities to effectively facilitate incident learning and support loss management activities.Provides support for company acquisition efforts.Reviews and understands safety and compatibility issues with arboricultural equipment.Collaborates with other members of the department and company to develop safety content, programs, curriculum, and other elements of company safety promotion.Serves as a member of the Corporate Safety Committee advising senior management on the proper courses of action needed to improve the overall safety performance of the company.Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the Corporate Safety Director.Qualifications include :

Committed to continual professional development (including advanced safety credentials and education).Tree care industry and / or safety management experience are required. 5+ years preferred.Candidates must reside in or relocate to greater Phoenix, AZ area, or Southern CA (greater L.A., San Diego, or Orange County areas).Position requires travel (up to 100 nights per year).Required Certifications :
Certified Tree Care Safety Professional (CTSP), Possess a valid Class A or B CDL Licensed Pesticide Applicator
