Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure modernization efforts. This senior-level role provides strategic leadership and oversight of multidisciplinary teams, ensuring modernization projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with requirements. This position acts as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, managing all aspects of project performance - including scope, cost, risk, and quality control - while aligning operational activities with program goals. Position will be located at Buckley SFB. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Major Job Activities

Supports program manager to schedule, coordinate, and host a project kick-off meeting. Supports EVM, input, and integrated baseline reviews. Supports TDP preparation and updates. Directs, creates, and oversees the RACI chart, a project initiation; supports preliminary and final EIP development; and coordinates the site survey process identifying resources and materials needed for completion of the survey. Manages travel and purchasing requests and maintains trip reports, a summary of all long-distance travel, personnel names, location of travel, trip duration, trip cost, description, and POC detail. Oversees procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment IAW USG requirements. Oversees logistics support activities (e.g., warehousing, transporting, shipping, tracking, delivering, and staging equipment) of all equipment to individual installation sites. Oversees and supports deployment teams' installation, testing, and QA activities. Oversees pre-implementation coordination activities. Manages development of innovative, effective, and relevant training. Manages all program / project activities, including logistics, safety, quality, surveys, and installation. Supports project installation team with access and activities related to planning, initiating, engineering, managing, testing, and validating the installed solution at the project site. Monitors progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Performs coordination with on-site agencies. Submits project documentation, including redlined drawings, as-built drawings, and photographic records, for upload to portal. Submits daily reports and other documentation as requested. Identifies, reports, and implements approved risk mitigation plans. Ensures work site conditions (cleanliness), including restoration of the site to original or better condition. Assists with development of Transition-In / Transition-Out Plans. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficient with MS Project.

Working Environment

Office environment with potential to support austere locations. Physical activities : Must be able to lift / carry 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Education / certifications : (Preferred) Master's Degree in Business Administration; Or BA / BS Degree PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Experience / skills : 7 years with BA / BS Degree. Minimum of 3 years leading large, complex projects. (Preferred) Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) systems Clearance requirement : This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret (Tier 3) level clearance. Skills & technology used : Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficient with MS Project. Supervisory / budget responsibilities : Management of personnel required.
