Position Overview :

We’re looking for an experienced Server + Shift Lead to join our team on Tuesday and Friday evenings as the Lead plus other serving shifts available. This unique role combines serving with leadership responsibilities, supporting both our guests and staff while ensuring smooth nightly operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, including food, wine, and cocktail knowledge.
  • Lead the shift in partnership with management, helping oversee floor operations.
  • Support the General Manager with staff communication, guest relations, and issue resolution.
  • Take a section while leading — shift leads at Bella Vino are working leaders, not just supervisors.
  • Assist with closing duties and ensure all side work is completed and signed off.
  • On Fridays, coordinate with the bartender; on Tuesdays, oversee servers making their own drinks.
  • Occasionally support with inventory, wine club preparation, and general staff development.

Qualifications :

  • Prior serving experience in a full-service restaurant required (wine / cocktail knowledge a plus).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-first mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle guest concerns with professionalism.
  • Comfortable balancing both serving and leadership responsibilities in the same shift.
  • Must be available Tuesday and Friday evenings .
