Job description

Product Manager, Cloud Learning Services

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a part of the Google Cloud Learning Team, you will work with companies, government agencies, and academic institutions to help millions of individuals develop and grow their technology skills with Google Cloud. In this role, you will have the ambition to upskill existing and future workers with a keen focus on leveraging the power of AI in educational technology to reach over 40 million learners. Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with the platform PM team to craft a compelling goal for an AI-driven Google courses platform and secure buy-in from leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop a product components strategy that prioritizes the integration of AI for an iteration cycle, ensuring user-centric focus and swift execution in a dynamic environment.
  • Help attract, hire, and mentor product managers, starting as an individual contributor with a potential as the leader of the team.
  • Manage intricate, Cross-Product Area (xPA) relationships and executive stakeholders from cloud learning, and other Google product areas.
  • Collaborate to create industry-leading, AI-powered educational experiences that redefine industry benchmarks.

Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. We are committed to building a workforce that is representative of the users we serve, creating a culture of belonging, and providing an equal employment opportunity regardless of race, creed, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity / expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition (including breastfeeding), expecting or parents-to-be, criminal histories consistent with legal requirements, or any other basis protected by law.
