Your Impact

As a senior engineer on the team, you will be intimately involved in the architecture decisions that shape the product. You will work with cloud services that require high availability and fast, consistent performance, and you enjoy leveraging the latest open source technologies to make the right technical decisions for a system that needs to be bullet-proof. You will drive decisions among engineering trade-offs and bring empathy with customers to intuit innovative solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to build the right solution for customers, and you will mentor other engineers, helping to raise the team level. You will join a mission-driven group focused on positively impacting lives.

What You\'ll Do

Work Location : This role is based out of our Boston or Seattle office and follows a hybrid schedule. Team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays with the option to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We value in-person collaboration to foster teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

• Lead engineering architecture design reviews
• Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews
• Mentor engineers
• Work跨 teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions that delight customers
• Improve our Engineering process, including long-term thinking, sprint planning and stand-ups
• Build services that meet high availability and latency requirements in a mission-critical space
• Work with the latest open source technologies

The Pay : Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation includes base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role ranges from USD 141,000 to USD 225,600 depending on geographic market and other factors. Actual base pay is determined by level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and other factors. Additional Location Notes : This role is based out of the Boston, Seattle, Scottsdale, or Atlanta offices and follows a hybrid schedule with in-person collaboration preferred Tue–Fri and remote on Mon unless an accommodation is approved.
