Full-time kitchen manager / executive chef position for a busy catering company. We do on-site and off-site events with 10-500 guests.
Qualifications :
- Catering-specific experience is a requirement.
- Creative, organized, and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and catering-specific methods.
- Excellent knife skills.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Experience with ordering, inventory and scheduling.
- Experience managing a staff.
Job Details :
Responsible for scheduling kitchen staff.Responsible for weekly prep lists, inventory and ordering.Responsible for setting a productive, efficient and fun tone in the kitchen.Prepping food from scratch for events ranging from 10-500 people.Collaborating with the other cooks to complete prep lists daily.Follow daily and weekly cleaning lists.Load and unload the van with hot food and equipment.The schedule would be mostly set but could vary and would include some nights and weekends.Please respond with a resume and cover letter.
