SHOWROOM MANAGER

DURATION : Full-time

LOCATION : Los Angeles

JOB DESCRIPTION

Collective Form is looking for a talented and experienced Showroom Manager.  We’re seeking a pro-active, relationship-driven, and highly motivated showroom manager to grow our business within the interior architecture & design community.  The candidate is expected to ensure efficient day-to-day management of the showroom while providing excellent client service and be an exceptional ambassador to our curated portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a strong passion for Interior Design and luxury home furnishings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome clients, architects and interior designers with a warm authentic greeting
  • Assist clients with product selections and educating clients on product knowledge
  • Assist and coordinate with the Collective Form head office; go on client visits / presentations and all aspects of client-related project needs, including sales, custom quotes, sampling, customer service, and other assigned tasks.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and maintain data records through company initiated systems
  • Develop strong personal relationships with key industry representatives while maintaining and nurturing existing ones
  • Identify new business opportunities and suggest actions to expand the portfolio of clients through research and development
  • Attend major events to network with the design community in and around LA
  • Plan and organize showroom events with Collective Form head office to promote brand awareness and to increase traffic into the showroom
  • Maintain the visual presentation and general upkeep of the showroom
  • Assure all administration, reporting and financial management is kept up to date

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3-4 years of experience gained as a Showroom / Gallery Manager at a luxury design retailer or in high-end furniture sales
  • Bachelor’s degree (Design, Architecture, Interior Design preferred)
  • Proven track record of business development and achieving sales goals
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Great authentic interpersonal skills to build working relationships with clients within the top A&D firms in LA
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize
  • Passionate about the luxury home furnishings & interior design industry
  • Proficient in using sales software, as well as Google Suites & Microsoft Office Suites
