OB / GYN Hospitalist Position in Beautiful Seattle, WA

Pediatrix is excited to invite Board Certified or Board Eligible OB / GYN Hospitalists to join our dynamic, collaborative, and mission-driven team in the beautiful greater Seattle area. You will have the opportunity to work at prestigious facilities like Swedish Medical Center-First Hill and Swedish Issaquah, offering flexible 24-hour shifts. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive OB / GYN hospitalist care in two major facilities : Swedish Medical Center-First Hill (6,000 deliveries / year) and Swedish Issaquah (1,800 deliveries / year).
  • Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OB providers with labor and deliveries, surgical assists, and obstetric emergencies.
  • Manage obstetric triage and emergency situations, including ectopic pregnancies and torsions.
  • Perform routine GYN procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy, supporting the Emergency Department.
  • Participate in academic activities, teaching OB fellows and residents from OB and family medicine programs.
  • Collaborate with a respected maternal-fetal medicine team in a collegial and supportive environment.
  • Work a flexible schedule of 6 8 24-hour shifts per month promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB / GYN - REQUIRED
  • Valid Washington state medical license (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED
  • OB Hospitalist work experience - PREFERRED
  • Clean malpractice and license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Must either live in the area or be willing to relocate - REQUIRED
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB / GYN.
  • Valid Washington state medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • DEA must be obtained before starting.
