Responsibilities Work in an acute care setting treating patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and physically-related disorders Service includes a variety of therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education Patient population comprises those requiring strengthening, modalities, training in daily living activities, and other rehabilitative therapies Work standard 8-hour day shifts with required flexibility for weekends and holidays Floating to other areas or sites may be required based on staffing needs Epic EMR is used for documentation Responsibilities include patient education in home safety, use of adaptive equipment, and compensatory techniques Participate in documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills 12 hours of orientation are provided and clinicians must be in-state for orientation, even if first-day modules are remote Current employees or those employed in the past year at a related facility are not eligible Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility based on the address on driver's license Scrub or professional dress code may be required; verify at assignment Weekend and holiday coverage as needed Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist, with preference for direct care experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehab units Current BLS certification is required Active state or Compact (NLC) Physical Therapist license required at the time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted Copy of driver's license must be provided License required if applicable Dry Needling Certification or education required only if performing dry needling Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably Epic Two professional references : one supervisor from within the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the past 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-631924.
