Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst of Revenue Reporting will play a key role in supporting revenue and margin improvement at KeHE by owning and enhancing the enterprise Customer Profitability (CP) model and Power BI dashboards. Drawing on expertise in Power BI, SQL, and DAX, the Sr Analyst will enhance and maintain the customer profitability model, delivering accurate insights through dashboards and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and performance.
Maintain, refresh, and improve KeHE's Customer Profitability (CP) model and reporting tools, including facilitating the monthly refresh process, validating results, and investigating anomalies.Own the CP enhancement backlog : translate business priorities into actionable development sprints and drive implementation of changes to the Customer Profitability Power BI dashboard. If enhancements require data engineering work, collaborate with the KeHE data engineering team to implement the required changes.Identify and address data quality issues and upstream data dependencies impacting the CP model.Design and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports, including insights into customer segmentation, distribution center profitability, and margin trends.Perform proactive analytics into the makeup of KeHE customer profitability, investigating profitability trends, cost trends, customer profitability peer analysis, and more.Present findings in a clear, concise format tailored to executive and commercial stakeholders.Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Pricing, IT, and Operations to ensure CP model assumptions align with business priorities and financial goals.Educate and consult stakeholders on CP methodologies, assumptions, and results to build organizational understanding.Maintain documentation of model assumptions, business rules, data sources, and system knowledge to ensure transparency and accountability.Support audit and compliance efforts by providing reconciliations, documentation, and process expertise.Leverage SQL and DAX to extract, transform, and model data across large, complex datasets.Leverage workflow automation tools (eg Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps) to streamline reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Proficiency in Power BI, with advanced skills in SQL and DAX.Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to manage confidential or sensitive information with discretion.Education, Experience and Additional Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or related field required.A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial, commercial, or operational analytics, preferably within food distribution, retail, or consumer goods.Experience leveraging automation tools via Power Query and Power Automate to streamline reporting and improve accuracy.Physical Requirements
