Title : Sr. Specialist, Warehouse Operation

Reports to : Team Leader

Location : Queen Creek, Arizona, USA

Summary :

The Senior Specialist, Inventory Control oversees in-house warehouse operations as well as outsourced warehouse / logistics providers and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) sites. This role ensures smooth inbound / outbound flows, storage, and inventory control, maintains accuracy through Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance, and drives operational efficiency via effective coordination with vendors and suppliers while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities :

• Inbound & Outbound Operations : Plan and execute inbound / outbound schedules for both in-house and outsourced warehouses, process logistics documents, and coordinate with carriers and vendors.
• Inventory Control : Monitor inventory status via WMS, perform regular stock counts, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Vendor & Outsourced Operations Management : Manage contracts, performance, and costs of outsourced warehouse / logistics providers, monitor KPIs, and propose improvements.
• VMI Operations Management : Oversee VMI inventory levels, coordinate data sharing and adjustments with suppliers, and address delivery and quality issues.
• Warehouse Operations Optimization : Design and optimize warehouse layouts, improve picking / packing efficiency, and ensure safety compliance.
• Team Management & Training : Assign tasks to warehouse staff, provide training for new hires and vendor staff, and conduct safety / SOP training.
