Maintenance Manager – Quirch Foods

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify areas for improvement and assign workers to take care of issues
• Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff
• Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
• Perform administrative tasks as required
• Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy employer needs
• Ability to clean, paint, operate electric tools, repair, and install things for the warehouse – as would any other maintenance associate
• Supervise and lead all maintenance operations and processes
• Develop and track annual budget for the maintenance department
• Ensure that all machinery is maintained and at working standards
• Regularly inspect the facility to detect and resolve problems as early as possible
• Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with co-workers
• Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance
• Account for all tools, materials, and relative equipment – place orders for new supplies as needed
• Work safely in accordance with company safety rules and procedures at all times
