A large and rapidly expanding non-profit health system in western Massachusetts has an opening for a Palliative Care Physician. This system-wide position will be active in the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Care across four hospitals and multiple primary care practices. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work in a highly collaborative and cross-disciplinary environment with a strong team focus and interest in academics.
About the Opportunity
- The Palliative Medicine team includes 4 palliative care physicians, 5 advanced practitioners, one social worker, and a strong support staff.
- Faculty appointment with protected time for clinical innovation, educational program development, teaching, and grant activities.Ability to participate in conferences and lectures, teach our palliative medicine fellows, and participate in research / QI projects.
- Members of the Palliative Care Quality Collaborative (PCQC) program at a Premier level.
- Inpatient and outpatient palliative care programs.
- No call.
