Job Summary :

We are seeking an experiencedCommercial Construction Manager with a strong background in estimating and design for commercial projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, design coordination, budgeting, and execution, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards. This role requires expertise in construction estimating, value engineering, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Estimating & Budgeting

Prepare detailed cost estimates for new and existing commercial construction projects.

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to determine labor, material, and equipment costs.

Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.

Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and scope alignment.

Pre-Construction & Design Collaboration

Work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure constructability and cost efficiency.

Review and provide input on design plans to optimize materials, construction methods, and scheduling.

Assist in the development of project scope, schedules, and phasing plans.

Project Execution & Management

Oversee construction activities from pre-construction to project closeout.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timelines, quality, and budget adherence.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve construction issues.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.

Provide regular updates on project costs, schedules, and design modifications.

Lead coordination meetings to align all stakeholders on project goals and deliverables.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).

5+ years of experience in commercial construction management with a focus on estimating and design coordination.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, building codes, and cost estimation methodologies.

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating, PlanSwift, Bluebeam).

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software for design collaboration.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications :

LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable building practices.

Experience in commercial real estate development or adaptive reuse projects.

Strong network of subcontractors and suppliers in the commercial construction industry.
