About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering and Quality to join their Executive Team. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in driving innovation, process excellence, and product integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of the company's engineering capabilities, leading the end-to-end development of new products, and managing sustaining engineering to support existing products. A key focus will be on continuously improving engineering processes, fostering a high-performance culture, and developing future engineering leadership. In addition, the VP will lead the company's quality activities, ensuring in-process quality and capability to meet customer expectations, and implementing quality systems that promote continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in establishing strong engineering processes, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (MBA or Technical Masters preferred), and at least 10 years of experience in engineering leadership. Strong backgrounds in machining, fabrication, and data analytics, particularly with expertise in Excel and business intelligence tools, are essential. The role requires a leader who is a proven professional, respectful, and integral, with the ability to effectively manage conflict and inspire others. The candidate should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, service-focused, and possess strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
