Research Scientist

A company is looking for a Scientist II to join their Cell and Functional Biology group in Cambridge, MA.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute cell- and protein-based functional characterization assays for antibody identification and optimization

Conduct high throughput antibody screening and characterization to assess binding and functional attributes

Analyze and interpret results, modifying experimental designs as necessary and supporting high throughput screening platform expansion

Required Qualifications

BS or MS (PhD will be considered) with 3-5 years of industry experience in a relevant field

Proficient in conceptualization and implementation of in vitro cell-based assays

Experience with fluorescent assay development and expertise in cell / tissue culture and flow cytometry

Strong attention to quality and detail in organizational and documentation tasks
