Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and deployment of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
Architect and optimize SQL Server databases and SSIS ETL pipelines for performance and scalability.
Develop and oversee Power BI dashboards, ensuring alignment with business KPIs.
Manage secure data access and compliance using Active Directory roles and policies.
Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into data‑driven strategies.
Establish best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and model lifecycle management.
Communicate insights through compelling visualizations and executive‑ready storytelling.
Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or business intelligence.
Prefer technical lead or team lead experience.
Deep expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI.
Strong understanding of Active Directory for role‑based access control.
Architect and optimize SQL Server databases and SSIS ETL pipelines for performance and scalability.
Ability to architect end‑to‑end data solutions and guide technical direction for complex data schemas.
Experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric for cloud‑based data orchestration.
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and executive presentations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
Nice To Have
Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Delta Lake.
Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate, Power BI).
Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data workflows.
Proficiency in Python for statistical modeling and machine learning.
Clearance Requirement
Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Public Trust Clearance.
