  • Circulating OR RN needed
  • Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust the nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Able to perform a focused assessment and reassessment. This includes pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and the general patient population.
  • Exhibit cooperation and positive attitude toward other hospital departments.
  • Serves as a professional member of the Surgical Services team.
  • Communicate questions about appropriateness of medical or nursing care through chain of command as needed.
  • Perform treatments and procedures as directed, which are within the individual's training and capabilities with diagnostic exam and procedures including cardiac monitoring and nursing care of patient receiving procedural sedation.
  • Preparation of the surgical suite for the procedures which are to be performed. To include all functions according to AORN Standards and hospital policy.
  • Safe care of all patients during their stay in the OR according to AORN standards and hospital policy.
  • Knowledge of all equipment used in the surgical services department.
  • Documents medications and nursing care in a timely and accurate manner in the E.H.R.
  • Teach the patient based on identified learning needs; evaluate the effectiveness of the patients learning. Include the family in the teaching as appropriate.

  • 100 mile RADIUS RULE. We will not accept a traveler that has a perm address within 100 miles of our hospital
  • EFFECTIVE 6-4-2023, Any traveler that's confirmed & doesn't start on time, the agency will be charged a fee (per their contract). The fee will not be assessed if it's due to a licensure issue.
