Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or one year certificate from college or technical school preferred. Two (2) to three (3) years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of handheld inspection tools, micrometers, calipers, thread gages, Height Gage, Talyround, MicroVU, CMM. Basic understanding of engineering drawings including basic GD&T Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Attendance : High expectations for timeliness and communication of absences for preapproval. Ability to work occasional overtime Safety : Follows safety & housekeeping standards and procedures, uses appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), awareness and concern for the safety of others Quality : Follows standard work procedures, self acknowledges and corrects mistakes, works to avoid errors and get it right the first time Productivity : Ability to meet or exceed productivity goals, manages time wisely, stays on task requiring little supervision to get the job done Teamwork : respects others, shares information, gives & receives feedback, works interdependently with co-workers to accomplish team goals. Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Support inspections for incoming and in-process components and the maintenance of the associated records.
- Support Production in Blueprinting parts.
- Utilization of gaging, tools and measuring equipment required for inspection support
- Support of Nonconforming Parts and disposition.
- Support in RCA of parts by Part measurement and investigation.
- Support in PPAP Approval process.
- Responsible for KPI update for incoming inspection, PPAP and proto parts.
- Responsible for Part measurement programs on different Lab Gages.
- Compliance to all Danfoss policies, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals, and environmental well-being.
- Protects customers from escaped quality issues by management of containment, sorting, corrective action and blocking of suspected parts.
