Job description

Our client, located in Brentwood, TN is looking for a direct hire HR Director to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a faith-based organization with a strong reputation in the market and support their 130+ employees in A-Z HR.

Duties :

  • Manage Full-Cycle HR Operations – Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll (130 employees), benefits, and compliance, ensuring efficient HR processes aligned with organizational policies and federal, state, and local regulations.

Employee Relations & Support – Act as a trusted resource for staff and leadership, addressing HR inquiries, resolving employee issues, and promoting a positive workplace culture through coaching and guidance.

Talent Engagement & HR Administration – Maintain HRIS and employee records, develop job descriptions and evaluation processes, coordinate candidate and executive meetings, and participate in recruiting events to attract and retain top talent.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, or related field

3–5+ years of human resources experience required

Payroll and benefits administration experience required (Paylocity preferred)

Strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills

Ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders proactively

Location : Brentwood, TN – on-site schedule

Compensation : $140k-$160k depending on experience

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco / Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco / Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
