Santander US Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is looking for the best talent to support our growth ambition and become future leaders through our 2026 Investment Banking Summer Associate Program. We are a division of dynamic experts that will provide you with support from some of the most passionate and experienced colleagues in the industry; all while developing the skills, knowledge, and leadership experience you will need to gain experience both professionally and personally.

Our Investment Banking Summer Associate Program, beginning in June 2026, provides comprehensive training and an introduction to Santander CIB and its capabilities. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the Internship. The 2026 Summer Associate Program is for Master of Business Administration (MBA) students with an expected graduation date of May / June 2027. Based in Los Angeles (CA) you will become part of an international business working with teams across different geographies.

Our industry and product teams include : Consumer & Retail, Industrials, Energy & Energy Transition, Financial Institutions Group, Financial Sponsors, Healthcare, Leveraged Finance, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging.

This program will provide the skills and experience to become a thoughtful, strategic advisor. You'll learn the nature of client service and how we build long-term relationships by putting their needs first, while developing the technical acumen to launch a career in banking.

What we are looking for :

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) students with an expected graduation date of May / June 2027.
• 3+ years of prior work experience.
• Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations.
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage in their leadership style.
• Crisp communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently, and effectively with people at all levels.
• Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required, foreign language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong critical thinking with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges.
• Ability to multi-task as required.
• Ability to work independently on special projects.
• Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment.
