Summary : Are you passionate about pushing boundaries for what is possible? PULSE Electronics Corporation is seeking an Antenna / RF Design Engineer in Vancouver, WA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, simulate, prototype, and validate antennas for vehicular, infrastructure, and smart city applications (e.g., LTE, 5G, VHF / UHF, GNSS, LMR, Wi-Fi).
  • Optimize antenna performance for challenging environments (multi-band, low-profile, vehicular mount).
  • Collaborate with mechanical and other antenna engineers to ensure proper antenna integration.
  • Perform testing and validation in anechoic chambers and field environments.
  • Support certification and compliance processes (FCC, PTCRB, FirstNet, etc.).
  • Participate in technical reviews, customer meetings, and design discussions.
  • Document design processes, test results, and technical reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in antenna design and RF product development.
  • Proficient in simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS) and measurement equipment (e.g., VNA, spectrum analyzer, chamber systems).
  • Strong knowledge of antenna types : monopole, dipole, patch, helical, PCB / FPC, stamp metal, and array-based designs.
  • Experience with vehicular or infrastructure antenna products is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and certifications for public safety and transportation networks.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
