Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent 5 years previous experience in the operation of wide web flexographic printing presses (8 colors with 52" web including automatic washing system) Working knowledge of solvent based ink system and ability to formulate and match colors Must have worked extensively with polyethylene film Need process printing experience Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Be dependable Have the ability to understand and carry out instructions Good mechanical aptitude Must be able read and write English Use measuring devices and have basic math skills Experience in using material handling equipment Ability to keep work area clean and neat Willing to work overtime including weekends Be a TEAM PLAYER

Responsibilities :
- Must oversee press assistant and direct in completing responsibilities and training
- Set up and run various types of printing jobs including line and process
- Set impression and register on 8 color wide web sleeved, gearless presses
- Trouble shoots print problems
- Adjust press to maximize run speed
- Produce quality print
- Follow directions written and verbal
- Load and Unload print sleeves from press and storage racks
- Load and Unload rolls of material from press
- Check Ink viscosity every 10-15 minutes
- Tone inks to required PMS number as needed
- Clean print stations and ink pumps
- Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled
- Complete production paperwork
- Perform quality checks on printed rolls and save retains
- Responsible for the condition of press and work area
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Work safely at all times
