Responsibilities and Duties
Manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an IntensivistConduct daily patient rounding and managementEnter orders, manage admissions, and oversee post-operative carePerform procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, swan ganz catheter insertion, and IABP removalManage advanced cardiac support including VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant casesAdditional Information
Must have a current Pennsylvania Physician Assistant licenseRequired certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)Board certification in Critical Care Medicine requiredPrevious experience in a critical care cardiac ICU is essentialFlexibility with scheduling is necessary to meet patient care needsBenefits
