Role & Impact

As a seasoned iOS Engineer, you'll be joining a close-knit product team alongside several other top quality engineers. Given the growth of our team and the importance of the native apps, your expertise will have a monumental impact. At Blinq, we're gearing up for an exciting phase : continuing to leverage our strong base to build out features on the best that iOS has to offer. You'll also play a pivotal role in enhancing our CI / CD stack, increasing observability, and the freedom to invest in whatever other strategic technical projects you identify.

What You'll Do

• Feature development : Build out features on the app in partnership with your squad.
• Code Review : Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Mentorship : Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and sharing best practices.
• Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product and technical roadmaps.
• Optimisation : Optimise application performance, reducing latency and ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Testing : Write and maintain unit and end to end tests to ensure app reliability and robustness.
• Continuous Learning : Keep abreast of the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our app remains cutting-edge.
