About The Position

Job Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience : 1+ years of experience required; neonatal experience required

License : New Mexico Respiratory Therapist License required; must have NM RRT Licensure if obtained after 1 / 1 / 2018

Certifications : AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required

Must-Have :

RRT must be multi-skilled and confident in CAH care patient delivery, including neonatal resuscitation, PALS, ACLS, and Trauma.

First-time travelers are accepted.

RTO must be included with the submission.

Any candidate who had a NM CRT obtained prior to 1 / 1 / 2018 is eligible.

Description :

The Certified / Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for administering respiratory and pulmonary treatments and testing.

S / he administers oxygen and nebulizer treatments.

The therapist performs stress testing.

Outpatient tests are scheduled as needed.

Expect to work some holidays.

On-call staff must arrive at the facility within 30 minutes if called.

If floating is required, staff will rotate with client staff according to client policies and standards of the Joint Commission.
