Job description

Senior Closing Lead

Closing Leads ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently at Quick-Box, with a concentration on closing of the facility.

Essential Duties & Job Functions :

  • Planning and organizing production schedules
  • Assessing project and resource requirements
  • Estimating, negotiating, and providing input on budgets and timescales with clients and other Quick-Box managers
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met for the production area
  • Determining and regulating quality control standards
  • Overseeing production processes
  • Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
  • Selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials as needed
  • Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Collaborating with client services to meet the needs of the clients
  • Supervising the work of production leads, production warehouse associates, QC Coordinator, QC Leads and QC technicians.
  • Organizing relevant training sessions for all staff based on areas of improvement.

Job Qualifications Mandatory :

Must have previous experience of high volume Administrative / Management in a production environment.

  • Must be able to manage 30 or more people in multiple areas and levels of functions.
  • To complete all necessary communications with other business units.
  • To be able to clearly communicate and articulate with all business units in a professional manner.
  • Perform essential daily administrative tasks.
  • Leadership Skills : Senior Closing Lead will need to Lead by example. They will also need to direct staff when it is time to go home or stay late as needed.
  • Critical-Thinking Skills : Senior Closing Lead will need to create plans of action and access those plans regularly.
  • Organizational Skills : Senior Closing Lead will need to be able to Multitask, keep people and many moving pieces organized and working productively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Senior Closing Lead will need to be ready when problems arise or be ready to anticipate problems before they happen.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in Management or training in team leading is a plus.

    • Work Environment :

  • This is a Denver based position operating out of a Warehouse environment
  • Warehouse Environmental Conditions are as follows.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • The work environment is indoors.
  • Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on outside temperatures.

    • Physical Demands :

  • Sight : Must be able to see well enough to read product lot numbers and expiration dates, read reports, and use a computer.
  • Hearing : Must be able to hear well enough to communicate in person or via technology, and to hear warning signals of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Standing : Must be able to stand for shift duration.
  • Walking : Must be able to walk without assistance to perform job duties.
  • Mobility : Must be able to be mobile to operate warehouse machinery.
  • Sitting : Must be able to sit for shift duration.
  • Stooping, Kneeling : Must be able to stoop or kneel for short periods of time.
  • Lifting : Must be able to lift 30 lbs. 50 lbs.
  • Hand Mobility : Must be able to have mobility in hands to open and seal packaging, utilize keyboard functions, and utilize phone systems.
