Responsibilities Work in a hospital LDRP unit caring for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases Day shift schedule with 13 week assignment Care for adult and newborn populations in a dynamic hospital setting Responsible for direct patient care and management throughout the perinatal continuum Directs and supervises other caregivers through delegation and coordination May be assigned Charge Nurse duties including staff assignments and problem-solving Collaborates closely with physicians, clinicians, and patients to ensure optimal care Maintains compliance with infection control, safety, and organizational policies Up to 24 hours of call off at the facility's discretion during the assignment No current radius rule; local candidates may be considered Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) level BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) must be obtained within 30 days of hire AAP NRP Advanced certification required prior to end of orientation Completion of STABLE course within 6 months of completing orientation Completion of OB ALS online course within 6 months of completing L&D training AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required within 3 months of L&D training Minimum one year of acute care RN experience preferred; specialty experience in LDRP / L&D preferred Ability to perform essential nursing functions including patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and critical decision making Physical ability for frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and handling equipment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627807.
