Senior Human Resources Director
An Addison Group client is looking for a Senior Human Resources Director.
Job Responsibilities :
Oversee the full scope of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, payroll, compliance, and leave management.
Partner closely with senior leadership to develop and execute people strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the executive team, driving accountability across leadership levels.
Lead and mentor a small HR team, providing guidance, professional development, and coaching.
Oversee HR policy and procedure development, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Lead change management and culture-building initiatives to foster engagement and organizational health.
Manage and optimize HR systems (including ADP Workforce Now and Employee Navigator) to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Support ongoing organizational transformation, helping employees transition from a "crisis mode" environment to a sustainable, growth-oriented culture.
Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives involving workforce planning, DEI, and organizational development.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field).
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including management of multiple HR functions.
Experience in healthcare or non-profit settings strongly preferred.
Professional certification (PHR, SPHR, or CP) preferred.
Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders and holding executive teams accountable to HR best practices.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization with newly implemented systems and structures.
Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and communication skills must be able to lead with confidence in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Employee Navigator (or similar HRIS / benefits platforms).
