As a Hydraulic Service Technician - Machinist , you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials to tight tolerance specifications. You'll use your expertise to interpret instructions and blueprints and operate a range of equipment including manual and CNC lathes and mills , horizontal and vertical boring mills , horizontal saws , overhead cranes , forklifts , and more.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience :

3-5 years of machine shop experience , ideally in a hydraulics industry setting

Experience with CNC and manual machining tooling is required

Experience in other industries will also be considered

Skills :

Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and thread gauges

Attributes :

Strong attention to detail

Good judgment and problem-solving ability

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Lift / Carry up to 40 lbs; Pull up to 50 lbs

Frequent repetitive motions requiring hands, wrists, and fingers

Normal dexterity required

Frequent standing, sitting, and stair climbing

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work environment noise level : quiet to moderate, with occasional loud noises
