Overview
A fast-growing, venture-backed chemical supplier is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to lead its expansion into the drilling fluids market across Texas and beyond. This is a high-impact, field-based business development role focused on net new account acquisition with drilling operators.

What You’ll Do
- Leverage existing relationships to open new business with drilling operators
- Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to product trials and production orders
- Engage with purchasing, lab, production, and executive teams to tailor solutions to customer needs
- Travel as needed to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term supply success
- Report directly to the VP of Sales and contribute to strategic growth in the drilling fluids segment
What We're Looking For
15+ years of relevant industry experience , including 5+ years in drilling fluids chemical sales (Required)Strong track record of winning new business and scaling relationships in a high-growth or startup-like environmentBachelor's degree required; background in Chemistry or related technical field is a plusEntrepreneurial mindset—self-starter, adaptable, strategic, and proactive in managing time and prioritiesBased in Houston or Midland, TX , with flexibility to travel regionally as neededWhat’s Offered
