Looking for a Electronic Technician 2 under close supervision, performs routine technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment

Responsibilities :

• Assembly and integration of electrical and mechanical components to create operational systems employing the following skills. Connection techniques : Wire stripping, connector crimping, soldering, splicing; Wiring installation : Conduit and EMT work, i.e. bending, threading; Circuit testing, wiring verification : DMM use, i.e. Ac & Dc voltage measurement, Resistance measurement
• Installation of transducers, Thermocouples, Flowmeters and other test instruments
• Verification of instrumentation functionality and end-to-end checks
• Troubleshooting of instrumentation and controls / channels
• Ability to wire to a schematic and ability to verify a circuit using a schematic
• Familiarity with Component installation
• Mounting enclosures
• Run conduit / EMT to and from enclosures
• Pull cables through conduit
• Mount electrical devices within enclosures
