As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a motivated and results-driven Sign Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our client base while maintaining lasting relationships.
Position Overview
The Sign Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful project execution from initial contact through installation. This individual should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
You will work closely with our design, permitting, and installation teams to deliver signage solutions that meet client expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Gather all necessary client information (logos, sizes, colors, location details, billing info, etc.) to initiate projects.
Prepare and present accurate proposals, designs, and project timelines.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project flow from concept to completion.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
Maintain CRM records, manage sales pipeline, and follow up promptly on all leads.
Qualifications :
Proven sales experience, preferably in signage, construction, or related industries.
Strong understanding of design-build processes and client management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Basic computer proficiency and CRM knowledge required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Compensation & Benefits :
We offer a competitive base salary plus performance-based commissions and bonuses, providing an exciting opportunity for high earnings.
Base Salary : $40,000 – $60,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Commission Structure :
Up to $50,000 in monthly sales → 5% commission
$50,001 – $100,000 → 7% commission
Over $100,000 → 10% commission
Message Boards / Message Centers : Flat 5% commission
Additional Compensation & Perks :
Quarterly Bonus : $1,000 for meeting / exceeding $250,000 in quarterly revenue
Annual President’s Club : $5,000 bonus for top performers ($1M+ annual sales)
Monthly car allowance
Company-provided cell phone and laptop
Paid bi-weekly; commissions paid monthly upon client payment receipt
PTO, paid holidays, and benefits eligibility after 90 days
Estimated Total Compensation : $80,000 – $110,000+ annually (base + commissions + bonuses)
Performance Expectations :
Maintain a 25–30% close ratio on proposals.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Grow personal book of business by 15–20% annually.
Ensure 90%+ on-time project delivery through clear communication and project accuracy.
Achieve customer satisfaction scores of 4.5+ / 5.
