The Tennessee School for the Blind (TSB) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodial Service Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for students and staff.

Job Details

This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure the facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. The custodial worker will follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors and walls.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including classrooms, hallways, and offices.
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
