Description :

Bedside Shift Reporting, utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units.

Barcode scanning must meet a minimum threshold to be eligible for an extension.

Less than the required threshold could result in a cancellation.

An ASAP start is required.

Cross posting of job ID is applicable.

The facility will accept either 3x12 or 4x12 shifts.

Traveling nurses are required to float as needed.

Call may be required as needed.

There will be occasional patients requiring ICU / PCU level care on this unit.

The RN will be responsible for caring for patients of all acuity types.

Interdisciplinary support is available from Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, and Social Services.

The patient population includes adults and geriatric individuals.

Daily census is typically between 8-10 patients.

This role requires competence in managing various medical procedures and protocols, such as arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and wound care.

Candidates are expected to have strong clinical skills and a solid foundation in PCU nursing.

RNs will be requested to sign an attestation confirming awareness of unit requirements.

Modules are billable up to a specified number of hours.

Failure to complete required compliance checks timely may lead to cancellation.
