JOB SUMMARY : The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites.

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

• Active CompTIA Security + or CCNP Security certification (8140 Compliance) - verification required
• Active CCNA Certification (8140 Compliance) - verification required

SECURITY CLEARANCE : Currently possess an active Secret clearance - verification required

SHIFT : Day Shift - Full time on-site at Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Maryland

The Project Network Engineer will be responsible for researching, building, designing, diagramming end to end network solutions related to assigned projects. Duties include providing specifications for network architecture design, evaluate and perform assessments of current infrastructure to ensure solution meets customer requirements, conduct proof of concepts and / or recommend hardware / software purchases in support of new technologies on ways to improve the environment.
