Overview

LMI is seeking a Security Specialist who will security administrative expertise for our government customer in specialties such as Physical, Information, and Industrial Security. The position will be located at the Pentagon. This position requires an Active TS / SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide general physical security knowledge with an emphasis in industrial and physical security standards for OUSD A&S client

• Analyze complex physical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirements
• Prepare / review Fixed Facility Checklists and documentation supporting SCIF accreditation process, compartmented area approval and secure area approval process
• Draft, review, and maintain internal policy documents, standard operating procedures, and instructional handouts pertaining to Physical and Industrial Security
• Provide oversight and audit key and lock, GSA container, and alarm testing and maintenance programs in accordance with applicable DoD policy requirements
• Conduct staff assistant visits
• Advise on matters related to sharing, marking, safeguarding, storage, dissemination, declass or decontrol, records management, and destruction, as well as reporting requirements
• Use DoD security directives, instructions, standards, and guidelines to enforce compliance and mitigate security risks
• Review and provide assistance with developing DD254s
• Operate independently with minimal supervision to continuously update security programs, and deliver solutions that facilitate our client's mission
• Give clear oral and written explanations of assigned tasks, relevant issues, analytic approach, and results

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Targeted Salary Range : $105,000-$112,000
