    • Job Summary :

  • We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to enhance the lives of our residents at a veterans memorial home.
  • This vital role involves assisting our veterans with daily living activities, providing compassionate care, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
  • The successful candidate will be an integral part of a healthcare team, ensuring each patient's comfort and dignity.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Personal Care : Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

    • Mobility Assistance :

  • Aid in walking, transferring, and various physical therapy exercises to promote residents' mobility.

    • Health Monitoring :

  • Take and record vital signs, monitor food and fluid intake, and report any significant health changes to nursing staff.

    • Patient Support :

  • Provide emotional and social support, actively engaging with residents to foster a positive, nurturing environment.

    • Collaboration :

  • Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and ensure continuity of care.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Proficiency with basic computer operations.
  • Strong adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient mobility.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated compassion, respect, and integrity in previous roles.
