Overview :
The Housing Works Emergency & Transitional Housing Program (ETH) provides time limited transitional housing and support services to individuals reentering the community following periods of incarceration or other justice system involvement. Program participants engage in a variety of onsite services, including case management, vocational training, housing advocacy and mental health support that address barriers to accessing housing in the community and help build skills that participants can use to achieve and maintain stable functioning in the community.
Reporting to the Program Manager of Case Management, the Case Management Supervisor provides administrative and operational oversight of the Corona, Queens ETH program site including, but not limited to, supervision of 3-4 case managers, maintaining internal and external quality assurance standards, assisting with the development and implementation of quality improvement activities, facilitating team meetings, ensuring participants receive high-quality of care services, participation in case conference meetings and crisis intervention as needed. The Case Management Supervisor will work closely with the ETH Program senior leadership team to ensure the physical environment and overall delivery of services are aligned with agency goals and participant needs, driving positive outcomes for participants. The Case Management Supervisor is a member of the program's leadership team, and as such, is expected to uphold the Housing Works organizational values and engage in activities that further the program and agency's mission.

Minimum Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations of the ETH Program, including case management and housing placement services.
- Collaborate with program leadership to implement policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Ensure alignment with program goals and objectives.
- Ensure participant access to services addressing social determinants of health (employment, education, healthcare, housing).
- Foster a supportive program environment promoting participant well-being.
- Ensure all participants have housing and service plans of care.
- Address participant grievances, conduct violations, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain a caseload of high-need clients as needed.
- Directly supervise 3-4 onsite Case Managers.
- Provide indirect supervision and guidance to support services staff.
- Conduct probationary and annual performance evaluations.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and terminations.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing training for the case management team.
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs.
- Ensure service delivery meets internal and external standards.
- Conduct regular quality assurance audits (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Share audit findings with leadership and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Complete required reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure client charts are current and compliant.
- Support and promote departmental and agency advocacy initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree; preferred in social services, psychology, social work or other related field. Master's Degree preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience providing case management or direct client service.Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.Experience working with individuals impacted by the criminal legal system or history of co-occurring disorders.Strong written documentation and communication skills.Ability to work as part of cross functional teams with other disciplines such as operations, technology, healthcare, social work, etc.Ability to think critically and creatively and exercise good judgement.Demonstrated talent and skill in recruiting, managing, inspiring, and growing a diverse workforce, and for building strong and collaborative teams to meet and exceed performance goals.Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, requiredExperience utilizing EMR systems.Preferably bi-lingual in Spanish, but not required.Interest and commitment to working with homeless individuals impacted by the criminal legal system.Ability to maintain a strengths-based, harm reduction perspective.Ability to embrace a diverse racial, ethnic, gender expressive and lived experience environment.Ability to travel within the boroughs via public transportation.Flexibility to work evening hours as needed to meet the participant service needs.Housing Works
