Accounting Analyst

Location : Hybrid in Seattle, WA

Contract Type : Contract-to-Hire

Compensation : Competitive market rate (Estimated range : $75,000–$95,000 annually DOE)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity in Seattle, WA . This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills who enjoys reviewing, reconciling, and interpreting financial data to support management decision-making. The Accounting Analyst will assist in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Prepare reports for management, including financial summaries and ad hoc analyses

Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and data integrity

Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiencies

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with financial analysis or general ledger focus

Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes

Proficiency in Excel and accounting / ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments

CPA designation preferred, but not required

Schedule :

Hybrid work model (3 days onsite in Seattle, 2 days remote per week)
