Under the direction of state agency and client leadership, the Project Manager will provide direction for all technology development components of the PBM implementation initiative. The Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with strategic objectives, and compliance with State IT governance and procurement standards. This role will also contribute to the development of the forthcoming PBM RFP, supporting the agency in defining technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight for technology development activities across the PBM implementation.
• Manage the full project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Formulate and execute project delivery strategies, aligning with agency’s modernization roadmap.
• Develop resource projections, budget estimates, and cost tracking to support financial management.
• Establish project milestones, work plans, and schedules, ensuring timely deliverables.
• Provide leadership in implementation governance and vendor coordination.
• Monitor progress of all team members and ensure performance aligns with project objectives.
• Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for Agency and State management.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring minimal impact to scope and schedule.
• Support RFP development efforts, contributing project management requirements, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
