The Director of Nightlife and Programming is responsible for creating a holistic entertainment environment within the Hotel. They should be constantly striving to activate the Hotel in new and engaging ways taking advantage of all available venues and spaces within the Hotel as well as all mediums of art and entertainment.

All activations and events should be planned and executed at the highest level to ensure that the reputation of the Hotel as an industry leader is maintained. Both culture and profit potential should be considered when finalizing all programming.

Programming refers to all DJs activations events and performances arranged and booked by the Director of Nightlife. The Director of Nightlife should work alongside consult and communicate with all departments. They will work in tandem with the Director of F&B Director of Events Director of Security and Director of Housekeeping as well as all department heads.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES :

• Always treats guests with courtesy and respect in a variety of situations.
• Displays honesty & integrity.
• Conducts monthly weekly and pre-shift meetings.
• Communicates effectively to staff using tools such as development reviews training departmental orientation. and monthly departmental meetings. Motivates and develops team members.
• Create preventive maintenance programs for consistency of the product.
• Ensures updated safe work environment.
• Is an inspirational leader able to motivate team members to be consistently engaged in serving others always looking for that opportunity and outcome.
• You build strong partnerships with internal customers and outside vendors.
