We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Elkton, Maryland. Responsibilities :

• Process and verify invoices accurately to ensure timely payments.
• Manage office supply orders and maintain inventory controls.
• Reconcile company credit card transactions to ensure proper expense tracking.
• Prepare and issue manual checks and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.
• Utilize software for accounts payable tasks and tracking General Ledger accounts.
• Conduct regular check runs to maintain timely vendor payments.
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system with precision.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist in tracking and reporting construction job costs, if applicable.
