Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our growing construction management team. In this role, you will support and work directly with the project manager on multiple $15M+ projects ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, develop your project management skills, and contribute to impactful construction projects. Skills in operating Procore are a requirement. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help drive project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Procore and Microsoft Project, ensuring all phases are aligned with project goals.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of design intent on site.
• Monitor construction progress on-site by conducting regular site visits, verifying work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to schedule.
• Assist in tracking project budgets, change orders, and procurement activities to maintain financial control.
• Collaborate with senior project managers on contract administration, risk management, and resolving issues that arise during construction.
• Maintain and properly distribute comprehensive documentation including daily reports, incident logs, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and progress photos using Procore.
• Support project team in implementing time management strategies to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience or internship in construction management or related field; familiarity with construction site operations is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools.

Solid understanding of project scheduling principles and techniques for effective project coordination.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of safety standards and protocols applicable on construction sites.

Familiarity with construction estimating processes and cost control methods is a plus.
