At Arkansas Oral Surgery, we're passionate about creating smiles that last a lifetime. We're looking for an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant to assist in oral surgery procedures to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. If you're a motivated team player with a dental or oral surgery assisting background, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do
- Prepares all treatment rooms in advance for each patient.
- Changes all chemical solutions, i.e., disinfectant soaks and sprays, sterilants, ultrasonic, presoak.
- Handles hazardous chemicals in a safe manner.
- Seats patients in designated treatment rooms in a timely fashion.
- Reviews medical history, progress from the previous visit, if applicable, and the scheduled treatment plan with each patient.
- Takes x-rays prescribed by the provider.
- Assists the doctor in all oral surgery procedures by passing instruments, aspirating intra-oral fluids, mixing materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)Graduate of an accredited dental assistant programCPR certification1+ years of dental assisting experience preferredExcellent communication and customer service skillsComfortable with computers and dental software systemsA respectful, team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitudeWhy Rock Dental Brands?
